Calvin: Guys, quick! Come here. You won't believe this! Hobbes: What is it? Is it another monster?!?!

Calvin: Not just any monster. A werewolf! (points to werewolf, who's sleeping) Hobbes: Another werewolf?! Are we going to constantly run into these things or something?! Calvin: What are you talking about? It's just one werewolf. Why do you think we run into werewolves a lot? Susie: I have a few explanations...

Susie: #1 We've encountered werewolves in our past stories. #2 The werewolf we met, Fang, ran off a long time ago so there's a chance he might come back in this story. #3 I'm now reading the 2nd Twilight book, "New Moon" which also includes werewolves. #4 A full moon is out tonight in this story. #5 We're on Monster Island, and werewolves are considered monsters. #6 In one of Watterson's earilier strips, Calvin turned into a werewolf. #7 The writer of this story is a fan of werewolves. #8 There are 8 letters in werewolf, and there are 8 reasons of why we might encounter more werewolves.

Moe: Um... what? Hobbes: Wait, Fang ran off? When did he do that? Calvin: Right after we met him at that creepy summer camp. He left while no one was looking, for some strange reason. And will you give it up on the Twilight books, Susie?! Susie: Nope. Moe: You guys are nuts. Obviously, that's a guy in a costume! Hobbes: Sadly, we've encountered something like that before... Moe: To prove it, I'll tear the mask off! Werewolf: Touch the face and you're dead, kid! All: AAAAUUUGH!!!! (Hobbes faints)
