I just visited a site about the saddest Calvin & Hobbes strip.
It's not by Bill Watterson, though (you can tell by the pictures). I think it's related to a topic about parents giving their kids pills for A.D.D. A lot of people thought it was sad (including me, even though Bill did not & would not write a strip about this sort of thing).
Since when would calvin willingly take pills?!?!?!?!
He would spit them out when his mom wasn't looking!!! And if she made sure he swallowed them, he would run to the toilet afterwards and barf them out!!!
Besides, HOW could Hobbes be imagenary?!?! I've seen loads of things that happened that Calvin could never do by himself!!! Like when he pushed the car out of the garage! A six-year-old could could NEVER do THAT by himself!!! Cars are... I think at LEAST two TONS!!!
The strip was a complete disgrace to Calvin&Hobbes. And Hobbes, though seen different through the eyes of others, could never be imaginary. I mean, there was a strip where he chased animals in the forest one winter night!
The "strip" was a devaluation of Calvin&Hobbes, and the dude who wrote it probably knew nothing about the characters.
<<< Anyone seen this cartoon? Anyone??
Left DCAH after 5 years, but I still check in now and then. I'm more active on Fanfiction.Net (Wherever Girl), DeviantArt (~She-Wolf91), and Youtube (Tomboyangel78).
Also, I'm Christian, AND PROUD OF IT! ...Just to let everyone know. I also love cartoons, even though I'm no longer a child. ...Cookies, anyone?
Okay, who made this strip? Not only is it UNREALISTIC (As Taylor said, Calvin would NEVER willingly take pills), but Hobbes is NOT imaginary, he is REAL. Remember when he tied Calvin to a chair? Or when he hung Calvin in a tree in his underwear while bees were after him? Or when he put on a TIE to greet Susie, to which Calvin was obviously against? We must take those into consideration - they are PROOF THAT HOBBES IS REAL.
But thank GOODNESS the sequel ends happily! Ha! Take THAT, Calvin's mom!
But I can't remember where to find it, I'll try to explain it... Though I can't remember it too well... YI hope you can imgaine it...
*Calvin is still doing homework, with Hobbes still a stuffed toy*
Stuffed Hobbes: C'mon old buddy, snap out of it!
*Calvin looks at the stuffed Hobbes*
*Hobbes is real again, and Calvin hugs him*
I changed my name.
Isn't that great? :D
