Story so far: Calvin is relived to get back some outside air, as he, Hobbes, and Susie have escaped Bowser's castle. But the next star requires walking to the next town, but do you? The traffic is busy, and Calvin gets that evil grin... You can get to the next town on foot, but you can see "playing secrets" for another way. You only have one objective: get to the next town. Why only one? Because doing that is extremely hard. You are gonna get at least three play points, trust me. BOSS: none Mini boss: Slightly stronger goomba The goomba has 3 hp, so he is incredibly easy. He may even lose on the first round! Playing secrets: You can ride cars to beat the level faster, but harder. The purple car leads to the next town, while yellow cars are fake. The tipped over green car has an extra life if you walk the level. Level 11: To da top of da building. Mission: Get to the downtown and climb the highest building. Story so far: Calvin finds a letter that reads "the tallest building in the downtown, up on the top lives a wise yet strong owl." "Nice use of poetry," said Hobbes. "Yeah, especially for helping us!" said Susie. C&H gave her a blank stare, and Calvin said "Well, hop on the wagon. Let's go!" The path is medium difficulty, and straight, so the only thing that you have to worry about is... BOSS: Superman (what the...) Superman will mistake you for a villain (thanks a lot Hobbes) so he will try to protect the kids, and you have to use Hobbes to fight him. Use Golden Metal Hobbes (or just plain old Metal Hobbes) to fight. Once you beat him, go inside, and talk to Hoot the owl. Playing secrets: An extra life is in the twelfth floor. Andy Meade	Tuesday 13 May 2008 1:13:41 am Chapter 12 Chapter 12: Where the heck is the next star anyway? Mission: Find out where the heck the next star is anyway! Story so far: A wise old owl carries Calvin and friends over to the port. The owl teaches them about intermissions and gives a new weapon to Calvin. "Wow!" says Calvin. "This ought to be useful!" Intermission walkthrough: When the owl gives you the hammer, smash the block by pressing B (O for PS2) and enter Toad Town. The Toads have slightly useful information. Go left, then down, then right twice, and you'll reach the Toad Town port. Go to the restaurant for a Fried Shroom if you want (it recovers 6 hp and 2 PON.) Go to the blue island and hammer it. Chapter walkthrough: Uh oh. It turns out that the island is a giant tuna! ...I mean a whale. Get eaten by him and get the Super Watt coin. 0_o Use him as a flashlight and go inside... There are some gloombas in here. Defeat them for some play points and go along. More gloombas! And more... and more... AND MORE... LeVeL uP! ...and more, and more... BOSS: Gloomba... just kidding! BOSS: Fuzzipede Fuzzipede can steal your abilities, but he has 20 hp and he can't heal, so he's pretty easy. He can make himself invincible, but attacking will remove it. Jumps will make up for no damage given if you use the action command. Now you can go to Lavalava island! Childhood is short, maturity is forever. ~Calvin
Andy Meade	Wednesday 14 May 2008 12:04:51 am Chapter 13 Chapter 13: Where are the five Yoshi kids? Mission: Answer this question. Story so far: "Welcome to Lavalava island. It would be in your best interest to get used to the local flora. If you're lucky, you can get some coins by pressing A (it says X in the PS2 version of the game) in front of trumpet plants. Calvin, Hobbes, Susie, and Kolorado, advance to Yoshi's Village for some relaxation!" As soon as that is announced by the Yoshi, Hobbes runs away. "Wait up, Hobbes!" shout Susie and Kolorado, as Calvin tries to activate the trumpet plants. Go left, defeat the forest fuzzy disturbing Kolorado, and go left again. As the Yoshi kindly states, you'll arrive at Yoshi's village. Go to the east side of the village, and talk to the youngsters, who call themselves the "Fearless Five". Apparently, they're planning a big prank soon...hmmm.... Continue to the right, into the jungle path, and once again, Kolorado needs your help. Defeat the Spear Guy bugging him, and continue to the right. You'll find the entrance to Mt. Lavalava, where the next star is being held, but unfortunately, it's unaccessible right now. Kolorado suggests returning to the village to search for clues. Apparently, the Fearless Five have gone missing. Could this be what they were planning? They mentioned going into the jungle, so that's where you should look for them. So exit north of Yoshi's Village and into the jungle. Welcome to Jade Jungle. There are enemies here that look like bushes, so be careful. Move the bushes out of the way, and head into the screen on the right when you're ready. Stuck up in a tree is Sushie the Cheep-Cheep. Hit the tree with your hammer until she falls out. She's the Fearless Five's babysitter, and will join you in your quest to find them. With Sushie as your character, you'll be able to swim in the water from the docks. However, you can only get back to land on a dock. Jump in the water with Sushie and go to the island on the left. Here is the first yoshi kid. He's in a bush. Dock back onto the middle island and head north to the next area. Now get back in the water and go to the area on the left. Dock onto the island, and hit the stump with your hammer. A bridge will appear. Cross the bridge and you'll find the second Yoshi Kid. Head back to the area to the right. Go to the upper island, and get up on the ledge by way of the spinning flower (use the Z or X button). Get the Watt coin, and as you can see, there a pipe here, so go down it. Use Watt to light up the cave, and find yoshi kid #3. Exit the cave, and go to the area on the right. Here is a statue of a Raven, but you can't do anything with it yet, so don't visit it. Instead, get in the water, and head to the area to the south. You'll find another Yoshi Kid sleeping in a tree, so use your hammer to get him down. Go back to the area with the Raven Statue, and go to the screen on the right. The last Yoshi Kid is being harrassed by two Putrid Piranhas. Defeat them, and you'll have rescued all members of the Fearless Five. Now you should back to the village. Playing secrets: When going back to Yoshi's Village after looking at the entrance to Mt. Lavalava, look behind the tree for a rare Jammin' Jelly. Childhood is short, maturity is forever. ~Calvin
Andy Meade	Thursday 22 May 2008 2:36:15 am Level 14 Firstly, I know the guide hasn't been updating lately. But we're doing it again. Secondly... Level 14: Mission to Mt. Lavalava. Mission: Look out for Raphel the Raven's tree. Story so far: The so called "fearless" five has been saved by babysitter Sushie. Calvin goes and asks Kolorado for advice. "Ay, old chap, good job on saving the fearful five or somethin' like that... How 'bout talking to the leader? He might give ya somethin' in return." "Let's go!" said Calvin as he zipped to the other side of the village... Intermission: Go to the Yoshi's village leader and ask for the Jade Raven. Remember the Raven statue in Jade Jungle? Put the Jade Raven inside, and push the statue out of the way. Another part of the jungle will open! BOSS: None Mini bosses: 3 putrid piranhas and yellow magikoopa. As Hobbes and Sushie are the most powerful ones in your ally right now, use them to fight. Hobbes' Metal Hobbes and Sushie's belly flop are good. Playing secrets: Surprise, surprise! NONE! Andy Meade	Sunday 22 June 2008 2:39:59 am Chapter 15 Chapter 15: Hot times in Mt. Lavalava Mission: Get to a useless pit of lava. Story so far: Deep inside Jade Jungle, Calvin and friends find Raphel the Ravens tree. As Hobbes climbed the tree, he met Raphel. They got to Mt. Lavalava without being toasted to a golden brown. "C'mon!" said Sushie. "That volcano isn't getting any cooler!" You will instantly find a putrid piranha who is aware of your presence and will report you to his boss. Joy. Kolorado will hop onto a stone in lave that sinks. As he demonstrates, the lava hurts, so try to avoid falling into it. Just be careful on the moving platforms and you should be fine. In the next room, you'll have to ride down another pulley. After you let go, you'll see a room to the right. Go into it. You can't cross the lava river yet, so use Sushie's "belly flop" to get across the top part. Push all three blocks into the river, and it will slow down enough to allow you to jump across it. In the next room, push both blocks into the lava, and climb on top of them, and have Sushie or Hobbes jump over it. Jump on the springboard here, and enter the room. In the next room, go all the way to the right, and push the block as far left as it can go. Now, go up the steps, and smash all the yellow blocks that are holding up the spiked ball. After freeing the spiked ball, run away, fast. Just as you reach the dead-end, dive down to the lower part of the screen. Kolorado will get run over, but he doesn't seem TOO hurt... n the next room, Kolorado will "smell treasure" and run to the right. If you follow him, you'll find that his explorer intuition was a bit off...Nothing to do but go back left, and then down. Heal up and continue right along the lower path. Andy Meade	Sunday 22 June 2008 2:49:08 am Chapter 16 Chapter 16: Lava Piranha! Mission: Kill all enemies. Mini bosses: Lava buds In the group, there is Lava Bud, Super Bud, and Ultra Bud. You kill them in that order. After they go down for the count, go to the next room. BOSS: Lava Piranha You'll have to fight the Lava Piranha. I'd suggest taking out the Lava Buds first, as they can do some serious damage. Once they're out of commission, concentrate on the Lava Piranha itself. After defeating it once, it will come back, and now it's fire-powered. Sushie is really helpful here. Use attacks that attack all of them first, so the Lava Buds won't have time to create Petit Piranhas. Then use belly flop on the Lava Piranha. Yay! You've rescued Star 2! The chapter's over! ...Or is it? Before we can call it quits on this chapter, you'll have to hurry and escape the volcano before it explodes. Once you do escape, the chapter officially ends. Peter Smith	Sunday 22 June 2008 10:46:30 am Thingy Just for fun, I MAY make a another video game... XD I don't know why... Anyways, I think I'll post level one out of BOREDOM! Level name: The level with no name (This might have someting to do with the level) Story part: Calvin and Hobbes ride through the forest and go over a cliff, then into a river. After, Hobbes finds a cave and they go in, and find... BATTLE: 2 Lizards After Calvin uses Power whack (Only available attack for him) The Lizards will fuse together to make the oh-so ugly Lizaron! After they win, the find a tunnel that leads somewhere. I haven't done the rest yet.... Insert awesome signature here
Andy Meade	Sunday 22 June 2008 7:39:10 pm Chapter 17! Chapter 17: Kolorado's treasure and gift Mission: Find the treasure of Mt. Lavalava. Story so far: Calvin has gained the "Super Shroom Shake" ability out of star 2. Kolorado is complaining about finding the treasure and then getting yelled at by a starfish (lol) and having his life saved. XD Anyway, as you know, the treasure landed somewhere else... can you guess the picture somewhere? Yeah, you should probably figured it out by now. Go to the level select (here, it's at Yoshi's Village) and go to chapter five. Go to Susie's room and get the treasure. But there's no level select on level 5, so you have to beat level 6 again (except for the boss) and on level seven, go to level 17. (otherwise you have to beat Lava Piranha and Bowser again, which is no fun.) Give the treasure to Kolorado, and he'll be so happy that he'll give you a whale call, which doesn't seem to work right now... Jump on the springboard that lead to the top of the tree, and discover a new springboard. Here, you'll find a raven that will give you a key, but for a price - 10,000 smackeroos to be exact. But don't worry, Calvin's an excellent haggler. Deny his request once to make him lower his offer to the few coins Calvin has in his pocket, but this still isn't good enough. Hold firm and deny him once more so he'll offer to do it for 20 coins! Hold him up on his offer. Go to the shop, and unlock the door with the raven key. The shop owner will be so happy for finding the key to his storage room he'll allow you to raid it. Get the oil here and use it with the whale call. Calvin and Hobbes aren't fixing experts, and Sushie can't do it with fins, so do it with Susie. Call for the whale. When you do that, Bowser will swim to Lavalava Island for revenge. Fortunately, he will arrive just as you leave, so he will have to swim back. BOSS: Bowser (2) Bowser increased his HP from 20 to 30 (20 hp is easy, man!) and he can restore 5 HP now. Bowser now mastered bite, which poisons you for 3 turns if you don't defend. When he loses at least 28 hp, he will not only admit defeat, but join your party too. Heck of a guy. Playing secrets: Finally, we've got more of them! Calvin and the girls have to haggle twice, but Hobbes is scary enough to get the key for 5 COINS! If you don't except, he will call you cheap. Funny stuff. If you use Hobbes' body slam, Bowser will be injured. Heh. Childhood is short, maturity is forever. ~Calvin

Battle: 2 lizards This battle cannot be lost, and you gain a lot from it... for one, Zaz the water creature joins your party, and 2, Hobbes gets a "Power mode" (What it's called is a surprise... ) After the battle, everyone will get experience, and NOW after the warm up, you must fight again... BOSS: 3 Apes The apes only have 90 HP each, so it's pretty easy, Zaz's water attacks aren't so good against them though... After you beat them, Calvin will find a treasure chest, and open it to find a 3 weapons, YAY! End of level Insert awesome signature here

Star 4 guards: Goomba Squad. Max. HP: 20 each.
