A few tips...
If I may, I'd like to give a few tips on making the CalTV channel more exciting and realistic:
- Have a countdown of the seconds down to 8:00 before the opening ident. Well if you're going to launch a new channel, you've got to have a countdown haven't you?? Or you can put in a run-down of the first day's programmes before the opening ident (This is what Sky Television did when they launched in 1989)
- Most channels have an opening montage before launching into the programmes for the first time - perhaps you could shoehorn one in?
- When the network is down, perhaps put in some sort of Test Card or a schedule of the next day. This can also go onto the first slide of the next PPT.
- Just for kicks, throw in a few faults every once in a while, like other channels! ITV had one recently.
- If you have the time, you can perhaps publish a few Pre-Launch Promotions, seperate from the actual PPT itself, before it launches.

Well...
I'm done with Calvdid Camera. Boy, there a lot of "technical difficulties" in it and Calvin Morning News. It's because everything is messed up! When the network is off the air, I made a special static screen that may run a bit slow, but it's okay once you run it more than once.
